The Furukawa Battery. Co., Ltd (Head Office: Hodogaya-ku, Yokohama City, President and CEO: Shinichi Ono, hereinafter "Furukawa Battery") has long focused on health promotion activities to realize health management based on the belief that "the health of employees is the foundation of Furukawa Battery." To this end, we have been conducting regular health checkups and stress checks for employees, taking measures to prevent long working hours, restricting smoking during working hours, and engaging in dialogues with occupational health physicians. We have recently formulated "Furukawa Battery Health and Productivity Management Declaration" and will more vigorously promote health and productivity management. At the same time, by establishing “health and productivity management promotion system”, we will further expand our past health and safety activities and accelerate company-wide efforts to promote employees’ health.
