Based on our environmental policy, we are promoting environmental conservation activities in various fields such as order entry / contract, design / development, purchasing, manufacturing, distribution / sales, service, disposal / recycling.

Environmental policy

We decreased CO2 emissions by approximately 13.9% in fiscal 2022, which was on par with the levels in fiscal 2017.

＊The above uses CO2 conversion factor published by the Ministry of the Environment.

 Although we increased CO2 emissions by approximately 3% in fiscal 2022, compared to fiscal 2017, specific emissions increased by approximately 11% per unit (compared to fiscal 2017). We are nonetheless determined to keep on increasing transport efficiency in the future.

Wastewater levels at all sites were maintained within figures agreed with the relevant local authorities.

We recycled 91.9% of all waste in fiscal 2022. We are committed to ecycling and will continue to reduce the volume of waste we generate in the future.

In fiscal 2022, we carried out activities based on the following environmental targets.

The following figures were taken in fiscal 2022 in accordance with the PRTR Act (Act on Confirmation, etc. of Release Amounts of Specific Chemical Substances in the Environment and Promotion of Improvements to the Management Thereof). We will continue to work on reducing emissions in the future.
