Following on from last year, Furukawa Battery Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture; President and Representative Director: Katsutoshi Tokuyama) has decided to continue as a sponsor of the Asia Cross Country Rally, the biggest rally in Asia.
The 2016 rally, the 21st, will start from Pattaya, Thailand, Asia’s leading beach resort, and its goal is the world heritage site of Angkor Wat, Cambodia. (Total distance: about 2,400 km)
Also, many of the vehicles, both 4 and 2 wheeled, in last year’s race were equipped with the company’s batteries and exhibited high potential.

Our two teams, TEAM FB and TEAM FB INDONESIA, will take part in the bike section of the Asia Cross Country Rally 2016. Carrying on from last year’s rally, TEAM FB will target overall victory. - Battery provision
